An outer jacket that fits snugly over bare fur may restrict shoulder movement or compress the chest when layered over a knit sweater or fleece undergarment. How to Accurately Measure Your Pet
Measure your pet while they are standing upright in a natural, level stance using a flexible measuring tape:
- Back Length: Measure along the spine from the base of the neck (where the collar rests between the shoulder blades) to the base of the tail. This ensures the jacket covers major muscle groups without hindering tail mobility.
